Angela Simkins

Welcome to our web site, we are very pleased that you are interested in our Company. I have been heading up Gentech since May 2007. Of course I have the qualifications, degree in Mechanical Engineering, MSC in Lean Operations and I am a Chartered Engineer and Fellow of the institute of Mechanical Engineers. As I have progressed from apprentice to project engineer to production supervisor to director to MD, I have valued the contribution of everyone in the organisation. At Gentech we have an inclusive approach where everyone’s opinion is sought. The experience gained working in varying industries from Foundry to Electronics to Steelworks and now Sensors means I add value through growth and customer focus.
The personal stuff, I am married with 3 daughters and I love what I do.
Greg Lewis
President - Gentech Sensors Inc - North America
A natural leader with excellent business skills, Greg is the ideal candidate to head up the delivery of the rapid growth in North America.
Greg has over 20 years of experience in the truck industry with companies such as Detroit Diesel. Greg has his degree in Mechanical Engineering and is currently pursuing an MBA degree.
Based out of Detroit, Greg is well placed to grow and strengthen Gentech Sensors Inc. presence in North America.
Janice Marriott
Sales and Marketing Director
Janice started her career as a design engineer and spent 10 years in the nuclear industry in various engineering roles before moving into sales. She has extensive sales experience in the UK and international markets. Janice says, “These are exciting times at Gentech as we are working not only to maintain our market share and uphold existing levels of support to our customers, but we are rapidly growing and are supplying a wider portfolio of products to a global stage.”
Innes Mitchell
Operations and Engineering Director
Innes is an engineering graduate and has held positions as a consultant, manager and director in industries including: automotive, oil and gas, aerospace, marine and industrial products. He has experience in implementing lean business techniques within operations environments.
Born and brought up in Aberdeen, he studied in Edinburgh and then lived and worked in Wales, England, Ireland, USA, and Canada, and has recently relocated to Ayr for the Gentech position. When not at work, he likes to go hillwalking, skiing and mountain biking – he had planned to take up golf in Ayrshire but considers it a bit of a waste of a walk.
