Welcome to our web site, we are very pleased that you are interested in our Company. I have been heading up Gentech since May 2007. Of course I have the qualifications, degree in Mechanical Engineering, MSC in Lean Operations and I am a Chartered Engineer and Fellow of the institute of Mechanical Engineers. As I have progressed from apprentice to project engineer to production supervisor to director to MD, I have valued the contribution of everyone in the organisation. At Gentech we have an inclusive approach where everyone’s opinion is sought. The experience gained working in varying industries from Foundry to Electronics to Steelworks and now Sensors means I add value through growth and customer focus.
The personal stuff, I am married with 3 daughters and I love what I do.
Greg Lewis
President - Gentech Sensors Inc - North America
A natural leader with excellent business skills, Greg is the ideal candidate to head up the delivery of the rapid growth in North America.
Greg has over 20 years of experience in the truck industry with companies such as Detroit Diesel. Greg has his degree in Mechanical Engineering and is currently pursuing an MBA degree.
Based out of Detroit, Greg is well placed to grow and strengthen Gentech Sensors Inc. presence in North America.
Iain Hood
Technical Director
Iain Hood is the Technical Director of Gentech. He has a BSc degree in Mechanical Engineering and has extensive reed switch and magnet knowledge. Iain previously worked in the USA for a multinational company. Iain and his team have introduced many new technologies and fully packaged solutions which have improved project conversion rate. Iain has been with Gentech 20 years.
Paul McDonald
Manufacturing Director
Paul McDonald is Manufacturing Director of Gentech. He has 20 years experience of Production, Operations and Site Management in a diverse range of businesses including FMCG and automotive. Paul joined Gentech in July 2006 and has introduced Lean Manufacturing. He has an MEng in Manufacturing Sciences and Engineering, is a Chartered Mechanical Engineer, and has a customer service and team centred focus.
